Organisation - key departaments

Production includes several departments with different production profiles. In each case top quality raw material is the core element, coupled with the right technological processing and supported by cheese-makers’ expertise.

Technical Department supports the production departments, preventing or minimising disruptions caused by failures. It is also responsible for technical investments, implementation of repair plans and machine-based optimisation of manufacturing processes.

Quality Department makes sure that all parameters, whether required by law or internal BONGRAIN regulations, are observed. It conducts microbiological analyses of raw materials and end products. With its own laboratory and specialised equipment, the department is also responsible for certification procedures and quality assurance system.

R&D Department works with Marketing to develop new products and constantly improve the existing ones. It analyses various parameters of our products versus competitors’ products, drawing on market research and consumer panels to identify favourite flavours and other preferred qualities.

Milk Purchase Department – This is where it all begins. This department works directly with suppliers and performs various tasks, from selection of suppliers through ongoing evaluation of raw material, technical support for suppliers to advice on how to expand and improve production.

Work Health & Safety Department makes sure that Turek employees work in safe conditions, in compliance with applicable legal regulations. It also educates staff (management included) on work health & safety and environmental concerns.

Human Resources Department is responsible for all employee affairs, from early recruitment stages through employment, training, transfers, promotions through termination of employment. The Department makes sure that labour legislation is observed and updates line managers on changes to labour law. The Department also takes part in all decision making concerning staff’s professional development and career progress.
